![]() (Beyond that you just take what you want, when you want it) Not my first pick by far, as i don’t like to rely on rampage at all, but still a viable option.īut since realistically, you DO have to level, I’m going to break it down for the first 50 levels or so. This will increase the proc from 4% to 8.5%… not too bad, 1 in 25 mobs for the proc > 1 in 12 mobs for the proc. While we do recharge quickly, the more time we spend in frenzy, the more overall time we spend with 100% critical stikes and other benefits. This will take your frenzy from 6 seconds to 10.5 seconds. This will increase your healing *PER SECOND* from 5% max hp to 9.5% max hp (nearing doubling your active health regeneration) That is a substantial increase in overall AoE output. This will take it from a 2 target 40% damage to a 4 target 67% damage. *OPTIONAL* Take out 14 points from red wolf, and invest into Wolf Shade, for a distraction for mobs and more health flow to you. However, other weapons can work just as well as long as they have relatively fast attacks (Under. Note: This build is tailored towards Claws due to attack speed and not needing a cleaving attack due to skill choice. So, you want to be a badass dual wielding berserker, and you want to play elite? Well prepare to farm, or prepare to die…a lot!Įlite offers a huge challenge to berserkers in act1…the beginning part is hard to survive (1-20, every boss fight is extremely difficult at this level)Īnd I’m here to offer what has worked for me (albeit, this method can be time consuming if executed poorly, but I’m here to help with that.) In my case the first option wins out by a lot.Torchlight 2 Berserker Autoattack DW Claw Build Guide by Bloodytrailz Int rolls can be similar so it comes down to something like 200 average damage + some CC vs 150-210 CD. If you add 15% from triumvirate you get more additional dps than the 15% IAS most likely, or you can call it the same for easier comparison. With a 200 average damage OH you instead hit for 1200 average damage per hit. You get more CD and Int from the second weapon that applies to both. If you equip a second one, you gain 15% IAS but otherwise you still hit with that same 1000 average damage per hit. ![]() It's like this, say you have a 1400 dps sword, or 1000 average damage per hit. I didn't think of that since I don't play any other classes, but in the end the result will likely be the same, namely OH > second weapon. If you use EF and chanto or 2x chanto that's a little different because of the +APS. If you also take the 18% ele damage, that's 150k dps I lose if I switched to a similar shield. The average damage on my OH gives me some 92k dps out of 486k. We don't use shields because they have no average damage. From the OH you get a LOT of extra damage, plus crit and int, and in the case of triumvirate, 15-18% ele damage. All you get from the second weapon is the int, CD, and some IAS from the dual wield bonus. I'm saying a dps OH is BETTER than a second weapon with the same stats as your first. So you're saying a 1 dps offhand is no different than a 1k dps weapon with the same stats? The problem with that is why would a wizard use a 1h+OH, aside from to get APoC from MH, if they could use a 2h+OH? That means Skorn+triumvirate so we could get higher life steal like other classes. On the other hand, if it were like DH dual wielding, meaning if you used a 2h you could still use an OH, I'd love that. So in short, it wouldn't be worthwhile for a wizard because of how much effective dps we get from our OH. ![]() I opened my spreadsheet and replaced my OH with a 150 CD, 100 int stat stick and I lose like 100k dps, even after adding 15% IAS. With that in mind, the question becomes, is that int+CD worth more than an OH with int, CC, ave damage, and whatever other affix you add, like IAS from chanto or bonus damage from a triumvirate. ![]() Otherwise you just alternate attacks from each weapon. ![]() If you dual wield them you gain the extra int and CD from the second weapon, and you get like 15% IAS. My understanding of dual wielding is somewhat limited but in essence, let's say you had 2 identical weapons. ![]()
